How do I edit text inside AI-generated images or image-based slides?
GPT Image, NotebookLM, and similar tools often create pages as flat images, so the text cannot be edited like normal PPT text boxes. Use Standard conversion for simple backgrounds, or Premium clean conversion when text overlaps complex textures, illustrations, or gradients. Both rebuild detected text as editable text boxes.
How to convert an image-based PDF into an editable PPT?
Upload your image-based PDF or screenshot to 2pptx.com. The system splits each page into a background layer with text removed and inpainted and a text layer with OCR-detected text rebuilt into editable text boxes, then merges them into a PPTX that preserves the original look with editable text.
Are my uploaded files safe and private?
Uploaded files are used only for the current conversion. Files for Standard, Premium clean, and Full-element editable PPT are retained for 24 hours and then deleted automatically. Files are transmitted over HTTPS.
Is 2pptx free to use?
Standard conversion, paragraph merging and original-quality backgrounds are permanently free. Watermark only and Manual adjustment are also free, subject to file-size and daily upload limits. Premium clean and Full-element are priced per page.
Can I edit charts, icons, and shapes in the converted PPTX?
Standard and Premium clean conversion mainly restore editable text, while non-text visuals remain in the background. Standard fits simple backgrounds; Premium clean is better for text over complex backgrounds. Choose Full-element editable PPT when icons, shapes, and decorations must also be selected, moved, resized, or replaced. They are not recreated as native PowerPoint vectors, and chart data is not automatically restored.
What if some elements should not be recognized as text, or some text is missed?
Use the free Manual adjustment mode to add, delete, move, resize, or merge text boxes yourself before export. You make these adjustments yourself; staff editing is not included. Contact support@2pptx.com if the issue still cannot be resolved.
What file formats and sizes does 2pptx support?
Supports PDF, PNG/JPG, and image-only PPTX files with one full-slide image per slide. Mixed PPTX files containing native text boxes, shapes, or multiple images do not meet the image-only import requirement. Free uploads are limited to 35MB per file; paid users or redemption-code users can upload up to 150MB. Large files may take longer to upload and convert.
How do I combine multiple images into one editable PowerPoint?
Select multiple PNG/JPG files in the upload area, check and arrange their order, then combine them into one PPTX. You do not need to make a PDF first. Upload an existing multi-page PDF directly. Check the upload area for available modes and file limits, and review the recognized text, fonts, and line breaks after downloading.
